What started small in 2001 with four children has steadily grown, towards being an ideal Montessori House of children practising Montessori methodology and philosophy with personal care and attention. Discover reposes the faith in Dr. Maria Montessori and her methodology of teaching.
The child's reality is defined as what he actually sees, hears, touches and lives from birth to 6 years old. It discusses the role of the child in society. Discover establishes the atmosphere of a human community in its classrooms treating every child with respect and dignity. Freedom is an essential element of the Montessori environment, and at Discover the adult and the child are not in a power struggle but in a relationship of co-existence.
Discover provides an environment where children learn by assistance and adults are merely facilitators towards meaningful learning equipped with a Diploma in Montessori methodology from the Indian Montessori Centre.
To facilitate early learning, NEST is the space in which the toddlers meet. It is a “Montessori prepared environment,” reflecting the home of the very young child. The activities presented meet the child’s developmental needs. Each activity is specially chosen to appeal to the child and aid in the building of their psycho-sensorial motor and language skills. The activities also prepare for the child’s growing independence, self-esteem, confidence and concentration span. Everyone works together, respectfully as a small community.
Children from Discover have successfully navigated the challenges of academic tests and are bright students at The Valley School, Sri Kumarans Children's Home, Brigade School, The Inventure Academy, Samhitha Academy, The Bangalore Steiner School, to name a few.

1. What is the ADMISSION PROCEDURE?
Admission is open throughout the academic year for DISCOVER NEST.
Discover Montessori is for children between the age group of 2.5 to 6 years.
Admissions are open between the months of Oct- Jan every year.
The new academic year commences from the last week of May.
2. What are the WORKING HOURS of the MONTESSORI?
Office working hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday-Friday
and 9:30 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday.
Working hours of the Discover Montessori are 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Discover Nest for toddler's functions from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday to Friday.
